Baridi Kwa Baridi Women CBO took part in a county-level public Participation organized by the Office of the Attorney General and the Department of Justice<\/strong> on Wednesday, 12th November 2025<\/strong>, at Blue York Hotel, Busia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting aimed to collect views from stakeholders on the ongoing review of the National Action Plan and Policy on Human Rights (2014)<\/strong>. Participants included representatives from government departments, civil society organizations, community-based groups, youth and women leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Exploitation of children and child domestic work<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Barriers in accessing justice and social services<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Environmental and cross-border human rights concerns<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Weak enforcement of existing policies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Baridi Kwa Baridi Women CBO emphasized the importance of protecting vulnerable groups<\/strong> such as women, youth, children, and persons with disabilities and ensuring that all community members enjoy their rights equally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
